Secure, confidential virtual psychotherapy available to anyone residing in Ontario. Sahaj Ruprai, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
About Online Therapy
Yes. A growing body of research suggests that online psychotherapy may be as effective as in-person therapy for the majority of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
Virtual therapy uses the same evidence-based approaches as in-person sessions, including CBT, ACT, CPT, and solution-focused therapy. The therapeutic relationship, which is the strongest predictor of positive outcomes in therapy, develops just as effectively online.
For many people, particularly men, professionals, and those in more remote areas of Ontario, online therapy removes barriers that would otherwise prevent them from getting help at all. No commute. No time off work. No being seen walking into a therapist's office. Just a private, focused session from wherever you are.
