Virtual Psychotherapy · Ontario · Men & Professionals
Practical, evidence-informed support for anxiety, anger, burnout, and life pressure. A space to talk without judgment.
Who I Work With
Most of the men I work with are functioning well on the outside. They're showing up to work, managing responsibilities, and keeping it together. But inside, something isn't right — and they're not sure where to start.
Men who want a direct, practical space to work through stress, identity, relationships, or emotional patterns without being told how to feel.
High-functioning professionals dealing with burnout, performance pressure, or the weight of being the one who keeps everything together.
Men navigating cultural expectations, family pressure, immigration stress, identity, and the stigma that surrounds mental health in many South Asian communities.
Fathers and partners managing the emotional demands of family life, relationship strain, and the pressure to provide and stay calm under stress.
About the Therapist
BA, MACP · Virtual Therapy Across Ontario
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I bring over five years of hands-on experience in behavioural support, brain injury rehabilitation, trauma-informed care, and working with diverse populations — including many South Asian clients and men who had never tried therapy before.
I work with men and young adults who are done white-knuckling it through stress, anxiety, and anger — and are ready for something that actually helps. My approach is direct, practical, and built around what matters to you. No jargon. No judgment.
All sessions are conducted securely online, making professional psychotherapy accessible to clients anywhere across Ontario.

What I Help With
These are the areas I have specific training and experience in. If something isn't listed but you're wondering if therapy could help, reach out.
Anxiety in men often looks like irritability, restlessness, or shutting down — not just worry. Therapy helps identify what's driving it and build tools to manage it day to day.
Anger is often a signal that something else is going on underneath — hurt, fear, or pressure with nowhere to go. Therapy helps you understand the pattern and respond differently.
When high performance becomes unsustainable, burnout follows. Therapy helps rebuild boundaries, restore energy, and reconnect with what actually matters.
Health anxiety is persistent worry about illness despite reassurance. CBT is one of the most effective treatments — helping break the cycle of checking, googling, and catastrophizing.
Depression in men is often missed — it can look like withdrawal, increased drinking, or just feeling flat. Therapy provides a structured, practical path toward feeling like yourself again.
Trauma affects how you think, feel, and relate. CPT and trauma-informed approaches help process difficult experiences so they don't keep running your life from the background.
Communication breakdowns, recurring conflict, and disconnection. Therapy helps identify relational patterns and build the tools to actually change them.
Chronic self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or not knowing who you are outside of what you produce. Therapy helps build a more stable sense of self.
Career changes, relationship shifts, becoming a father, or figuring out what's next. Support through the uncertainty that comes with real change.
How It Works
Starting therapy doesn't have to be complicated. Here's what the process looks like.
Fill out the form and we'll connect briefly. No commitment required — just a chance to see if it's a fit.
We discuss what's brought you here, what you want to work on, and how therapy can help. You don't have to have it figured out.
Weekly or biweekly 50-minute virtual sessions. Practical, focused, and built around your goals — not a generic program.
Therapeutic Approach
I draw from approaches that have strong research support and that translate into real tools you can use outside of sessions. The specific approach is always tailored to what you're dealing with and what works for you.
Identifying and shifting unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns that maintain anxiety, anger, and low mood
Building psychological flexibility and living in line with your values, rather than being ruled by difficult emotions
A structured, evidence-based approach specifically designed for trauma and PTSD
Building on existing strengths and identifying practical, goal-directed steps forward
Exploring ambivalence and building your own motivation for change — without pressure or judgment

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Research consistently shows that online psychotherapy is as effective as in-person therapy for most concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. Virtual sessions use the same evidence-based approaches and offer added convenience, particularly for busy professionals.
Yes — significantly. Men benefit from therapy when it's delivered in a way that's direct, practical, and free of judgment. Therapy helps men manage stress more effectively, communicate better in relationships, process emotions, and perform better in all areas of life. The barrier is usually starting, not the work itself.
Anger management therapy helps individuals understand what triggers their anger, recognize the patterns behind it, and develop healthier, more effective responses. Anger is often a secondary emotion — underneath it is usually hurt, fear, or shame. Therapy addresses the root, not just the symptoms.
Health anxiety is persistent, excessive worry about having or developing a serious illness — even when medical tests come back normal. It often involves repeated checking of symptoms, seeking reassurance, or avoiding anything that might trigger health fears. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is one of the most effective treatments for health anxiety.
Burnout is a state of chronic exhaustion — physical, emotional, and mental — caused by sustained stress, usually in high-demand environments. It commonly affects professionals who consistently put performance above personal needs. Therapy helps identify contributing patterns, rebuild healthy boundaries, and restore a sense of meaning and energy.
Yes. MindRight Psychotherapy offers culturally aware therapy for South Asian men navigating the unique pressures of family expectations, cultural identity, immigration stress, and the mental health stigma that exists in many South Asian communities. All sessions are conducted virtually, available across Ontario.

The first session is a chance to talk about what's brought you to therapy, what you'd like to work on, and what a useful outcome would look like. You set the pace. You're not required to share anything you're not ready to discuss — and you don't have to have it all figured out before you start.
